Currently we are excited to have on our shelves an amazing point of view story in Nightwing #105. An issues done completely from Dick Grayson’s perspective. A neat idea for the medium.

Loki #1 came out strong with beautiful covers and a great story steeped in humor and classic Norse Mythology.

We are currently looking forward to the first week of July, when the DC sweeping Knight Terrors begins its’ 4 issue story arc. Begging the question what are heroes afraid of? And why’s it look like the Joker has an office job? Here at the Forge we’re urging everyone to watch their fingers and toes around the grill this Fourth of July.

This month’s person of interest is Ed Brubaker. A powerhouse award
winning writer, multi-media heavy hitter, and a genre defining
gentleman of good standing.

In mid June his new book “Night Fever” came out. On the cover It’s
described as a “taut, riveting story, as disturbing as it is satisfying...”and
on the back it’s succinctly summed up as “a pulse-pounding noir thriller
from grand masters..” each copy comes with an autographed book
plate.

A few of Mr. Brubaker’s career highlights are the creation of a grown
Bucky Barnes aka the Winter soldier, the Immortal Iron Fist, his work on
the Reckless series, writing for the television show Westworld, and
being the comic con arm wrestling champion of 2003.
